Tall Whites
- First known report
- Essentially a single-source modern legend: Charles Hall's self-published 'Millennial Hospitality' book series (2002 onward), recounting claimed 1960s encounters at Nellis AFB ranges while he served as a weather observer. Earlier tall, pale entities appear scattered in 1950s-60s CE3 reports but without Hall's coherent culture and family structure.
- Relative frequency
- rare — mostly confined to the Hall narrative and its internet afterlife
Reconstruction based on witness descriptions
Physical description
Very tall (up to 2.5 m in accounts), chalk-white skin, thin builds, large blue eyes, near-translucent white hair; described as physically fragile — vulnerable to Earth's gravity and sunlight — but technologically dominant, and as having a working, decades-long arrangement with the U.S. military at a Nevada test range.
Skeptical reading
A late, literary entity: no independent report stream predates Hall's books, and the 'aliens working with the Air Force in the desert' motif tracks the Area 51 mythology boom that followed Bob Lazar's 1989 claims. Hall's own military service records have never been located to corroborate his presence at the base in the stated years. Included here because the type has bled into general reports since 2002 — a clean example of published lore generating new sightings rather than the reverse.
