Physical description
Human-looking beings of striking beauty: tall (1.8-2.2 m), long blond hair, blue or pale eyes, luminous or tanned skin, often in one-piece suits. Reported as serene, benevolent, and talkative — frequently delivering warnings about nuclear weapons or ecological collapse.
Skeptical reading
The Nordic is transparently the idealized post-war savior figure: contactee tales appeared exactly when atomic anxiety peaked, and Adamski's photos were shown to be small models. The type's migration from 'Venusian' to 'Pleiadian' as astronomy ruled out local habitable worlds is a textbook case of the narrative adapting to keep ahead of science.
