Physical description
Humanoids 2.5-4 m tall, often headless-looking or with small heads set into massive shoulders, sometimes three-eyed (Voronezh), moving slowly and accompanied by small robots. Distinct from Nordics by sheer scale and a menace-neutral affect — witnesses read them as alien rather than hostile or benevolent.
Skeptical reading
Voronezh rests on child witnesses interviewed after local saucer hysteria and a credulous TASS wire piece that Western agencies amplified uncritically. Follow-up investigation found no physical evidence surviving scrutiny at the reported landing site. The giant humanoid also appears just as glasnost-era Soviet media was discovering sensationalism — a reminder that press ecosystems, not only witnesses, shape entity waves.
