Physical description

Ape-like or fur-covered bipeds, 1.5-3 m tall, reported near landed objects or glowing lights — the point where ufology and cryptozoology overlap most directly. Often described with glowing red eyes and a sulfurous smell; the Venezuelan variant was reported with unusually hard, metallic-feeling skin rather than ordinary hide.

Combines two low-evidence categories, so skeptics see compounded misperception: bears, owls, and hoaxes under flap-condition arousal. Even most ufologists keep hairy-humanoid cases at arm's length; they survive in the literature mainly as exhibits of 'high strangeness' — events too weird to fit comfortably even inside the extraterrestrial hypothesis, let alone conventional explanation.
